A day at Ekhamraskolan ( in English)
On Ekhamraskolan starts the day with a collection of your mentor group, along with the teacher who is also your personal mentor. You will discuss among other TV news and what has happened in the world to learn to make connections and understand how society works. At the time mentor, add also the schedule for the day. You break down the weekly objectives for each topic to work for the day and plan the training sessions you need to attend. Your schedule does not look the same as your friend's schedule. It depends on what goals you have and how long it takes to complete tasks. The mentor verifies and approves and help if needed.
Then follow your own schedule. You can work with your buddies on a subject and on their own in another. There are different forms of teaching according to the subject you are dealing with. In a lecture you listen to a briefing by your teacher. A workshop go to when you need help with teaching any task or subject. Sometimes you sit in study rooms or at your computer, and sometimes you work with your friends in the sea of knowledge.
At the conclusion gather you back to the group and evaluate what you have done during the am / pm, and reflect on what went well and what went less well. Maybe you do a note for tomorrow's planning.
En dag på Ekhamraskolan (in Swedish )
På Ekhamraskolan börjar dagen med en samling i din mentorsgrupp tillsammans med den lärare som också är din personliga mentor. Ni diskuterar bland annat TV-nyheterna och vad som hänt i världen för att lära er att se samband och förstå hur samhället fungerar. På mentorstiden lägger du också upp schemat för dagen. Du bryter ner veckomålen för varje ämne till arbetsuppgifter för dagen och planerar vilka undervisningstillfällen du ska gå på. Ditt schema behöver inte se likadant ut som din kompis schema. Det beror på vilka mål ni har och hur lång tid det tar att slutföra uppgifter. Mentorn kontrollerar och godkänner och hjälper till om det behövs.
Därefter följer du ditt eget schema. Du kan arbeta med dina kompisar i ett ämne och på egen hand i ett annat. Det finns olika undervisningsformer beroende på vilket ämne du arbetar med. På en föreläsning lyssnar du till en genomgång av din lärare. En workshop går du till när du behöver lärarhjälp med någon uppgift eller ämne. Ibland kanske du sitter i grupprum eller vid din dator och ibland kanske du arbetar med dina kompisar i kunskapshavet.
Vid avslutningen samlas ni i gruppen igen och utvärderar vad ni har gjort under fm/em och reflekterar över vad som har gått bra och vad som gått mindre bra. Kanske gör du en notering inför morgondagens planering.
